One of the most beautiful and unforgettable places in the Philippines and even in the whole world is the island paradise of Coron in the northern part of Palawan. Labeled as a top ten world diving site by Forbes Traveler Magazine and widely desired as a top choice for vacations in the country, Coron is a place you will not soon forget after your trip.

When one imagines what they would expect from a top tourist destination, white sandy beaches and crystal blue waters are often on that list. Add the Islands limestone cliffs and beautiful lakes and coves on top of the buried Japanese warships which divers drool over and Coron truly delivers an unforgettable holiday trip.

The Coron municipality itself covers both the entire Coron Island as well as the neighboring Busuang Island along with fifty other additional minor islets in the area that stretch as far out as Tara Island to the northeast and Canipo Island to the south. All of these islands make up the Calamian Archipelago which is what separates the Sulu Sea and the South China Sea.
